What is Filipino Food?

Imagine a native Malay cook with a Chinese roommate being taught by a Spanish Chef with a love affair for everything American and you will begin to understand what Filipino food is all about.

Filipino food offers a bold combination of sweet, sour, and salty flavours. There is often an aspect of counterpoint in each dish where contrasting flavours such as sweet and salty are paired together to create delicious combinations. Filipino cuisine has had many cultural influences throughout its development. Chinese traders, Spanish settlers, and American soldiers have all contributed to the cuisine.

Who We Are

Our mission is to share Filipino food and culture with the world.

Who We Are

Our mission is to share Filipino food and culture with the world.

In May of 2012 we opened at Queen and Bathurst as the first modern Filipino restaurant in Canada. Our goal was to help put Filipino food on the culinary map in our city. Now after 7 years we have moved up to St. Clair West and are so happy to be a part of such a vibrant community. Our mission remains unchanged - we want to share Filipino culture with the mainstream and change what people think about Filipino food. We pride ourselves in providing warm and friendly service. We have a passion for Filipino food and culture and we want to share it with you.
